My Relationship with Black Coffee
Energy drinks are fun and tasty, but they are bad for your health. They are loaded with sugar, chemicals, and all sorts of other unhealthy ingredients. I have said this in previous blog posts, and I will say it again, but energy drinks should only be used when you don't have the option of drinking coffee or tea. When I have choice, my favorite way to consume caffeine is by drinking black coffee. Yep, black coffee, no milk, no creamer, and no sugar, just straight-up coffee. It's a relatively healthy way of consuming caffeine, since it's just caffeine, no sugar or milk. For the health-conscious caffeine user, black coffee is the way to go. Some may not like the taste of black coffee, but really, you just need to find a good brand. Some coffee just really tastes so good, that you can actually drink it with nothing added. It really is an acquired taste, so don't give up if you don't like the bitter taste of black coffee at first. Just fake it till you make it. If you don't like how black coffee tastes, just keep drinking it anyway until you grow to like the taste. You will eventually reap the health benefits, as you makee the switch to a healthier form of caffeine consumption.
